How did you end up working for Vimma, what kind of journey was it?

We were with Juhana Rahkola, Marjut's son, looking for a place to learn on the job in October 2016. At the time, neither of us had clear plans where to go to get it, and together we then came up with asking Vimma that if there was a need for very good guys, and he was there. Since then I have been part of the Vimma team.

 

What are your favorite patterns or products from Vimma?

A few designs that have impressed Muhu are Pitko, Mystical Flowers, Tuuliturkki and Mummo. Pitko became familiar in its early stages, because Vimma didn't have many patterns at that time. When placing online store orders, it took a long time to post a lot!!! On the other hand, I have only seen Mummo patterns in pictures, but I liked it at first glance.

 

The most important thing in life right now...

Family, work and driver's license :).

Computer, clothes and vague piles of papers.
 

Autumn feels...

Good and exciting. It feels like big changes are coming, but I don't know what yet.

 

My favorite hobby is…

Driving and hanging out with friends.

My favourite food is..

Homemade food is good, but if I go out to eat, I go for steak because I want to enjoy something that doesn't get made at home every day.

The forest in my backyard. In Helsinki, the intersection of Pietarinkatu and Kapteeninkatu.

Busy. A lot of things happen in a short time.
 

Your favorite outfit right now?

A collared shirt or sweater, and neat jeans or straight pants and shoes that match the outfit (smart casual).
 

On Sundays…

Let's rest and collect batteries for the coming week. I might drive a car or see friends/relatives.
 

Forest..

The forest is the right place to meditate and relax. The fresh air and the lovely hum of the forest soothe and get you going. Always!

A car, because moving around like that is effortless and you can easily move from one place to another according to your own schedule.
